誰是/識英雄？

這一陣子因為住處附近的百視達推出美國影集第一集免費看的活動，愛看影集的當然是充分利用，每週挑個一、兩種回家看。但真正繼續看下去的其實不多（看影集很危險，一旦陷下去超傷眼力，最傷的莫過於"24"每次看都欲罷不能急知詳情。看完累極又罵：怎麼只有這樣？！）現在都很小心克制，不要輕易陷入。因此真正花錢看兩集以上的，只有Gilmore Girls, Ugly Betty, Ghost Whisperer等。但讓我迫不及待看完完整一季的，竟然是原先純無聊拿來打發時間的 "Heroes". （台譯：超異能英雄）片頭地球、Shankar的吟唱、有如電影"Open Your Eyes"的夢境開場、Sendhil Ramamurthy的旁白，我的幾個週末就這樣淪陷了！

影集的內容不在這裡詳述，僅在這裡分享片中兩段很像歌詞的旁白，搭配Shankar的吟唱、Wendy & Lisa的配樂、Ramaurthy （片中的Mohinder Suresh）特殊的口音與嗓音，初聽時便突如其來地...touch my heart...

Who among the world of strangers will hold our hand, touch our hearts,

We dream of hope, we dream of change, of fire, of love, of death.
Then it happens. The dream becomes real.
The answer to this quest, This need to slove life's mysteries,
Finally shows itself, like the glowing light of the new dawn.
So much struggle for meaning, for purpose
In the end we find it only in each other.
The shared experiences of the fantastics and the mundane.
The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect, and
To know in our hearts that
We are not alone.
